ABOUT FAINT MAGAZINE
Founded in September 2010 by fashion photographer Alexandre Dubois FAINT is a Fashion and Art magazine dedicated to showcasing both emerging and established artists from across the globe. It strives to engage and inspire its readers through high-end fashion editorials, avant-garde imagery and exclusive features and interviews with some of the worlds leading creative minds.
Every edition is thoughtfully curated and edited to deliver a body of work bound by a common thread. Initially established on a digital platform in October 2010, FAINT is pleased to announce the release of our first ever printed edition 'Distilled' on November 11, 2011. |

Since the release of our zero hour issue 'The Bare Issue' in October of 2010, we have continued to gain international recognition with the release of four additional issues. The highly anticipated follow-up issue 'As, Above So Below' boasted a slew of noted talented creatives including renowned Fashion & Art Photographer Melanie Pullen (High Fashion Crime Scenes), fashion photographers David Yeo, Pierre Dal Corso & Stefan Gifthaler, Dutch fashion designer Iris Van Herpen and critically acclaimed musical duo Beach House. |

February of 2010 saw the release of 'Prince' - a showcase of some of the most beautiful fashion editorials from the likes of Leriam Gonzalez, Ausra Osipaviciute, Alejandro Cavallo, Lara Jade, Matthew Burgess & Martin Bing. The issue also featured interviews with painter David Kinsey and the Queen of Latex VAUNTD.
To date, 'Prince' has generated over 30,000 views and counting. |

'Second Skin' is FAINT magazine's third official online release. The issue had a strong focus of fettishism, im particular materialstic fettishism, whereby clothing acts as a surrogate to the weares own skin. The issue featured some very confronting imagery by artists from all over the world, including Andreas Waldschutz, photographer and filmographer Sayaka Maruyama, Carla Pires, Rachel Smith and polaroids by David Arnal. |

'The Colours & The Kids' is FAINT magazine's last issue before the move to a print publication. The issue focused in part on Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in May 2011 and features exclusive designer interviews with Alistair Trung, Karla Spetic, Gail Sorronda, Bowie Wong, Alvin Manolo from Saint Augustine Academy, Joshua Scacheri from Subfusco, Jaime Lee and more...
Colour was the driving element behind the issue which saw an explosion of all hues and saturations that manifested themselves in stunning editorials from many photographers including Alexandre Dubois, Claire Wallman, Darroch Putnam, Enokae. Florence Leung, Lara Jade, Leriam Gonzalez, Meagan Cignoli, Michal Greg and many more. |
